This is the pasture where we started gathering. If you look closely in the center of the picture, you will see some cows on the top of the far plateau. (click on picture to enlarge)

We are now almost to Buck's place. Only about three miles to go. A few clouds are coming in and the breeze is getting cool. Fingers and toes are getting cold.

Great pictures! Is this the pasture down west of the place? Y'all have given names to places and I'm not certain which is what. :-) However, this pictures once again bring to mind that there is a sort of ridge all about the main Ranch in a big circular pattern (it's something I noticed one day when I was out riding way back when) - I still believe that the whole area used to be the caldera of a volcano. If you get way up high on one of those ridges and look around, you'll see what I mean.
