Recently we have been trying to smooth out our hay fields by lightly disking them and dragging a harrow behind. The worst part was the mole hills; it seems to be leveling them out quite well. We have done about 450 acres and are through on this side of the river, but have 160 acres left on the other side of the river.
A couple of pictures.
Here is what happens when you leave the windows down on the pickup.

Beautiful March
It feels more like May though. Today was 73 degrees. I guess by the end of the week it is supposed to cool down into the 50's, but then we have a chance of rain, which would be nice.
About a week ago we moved the steers to another pasture. They seem to be pretty happy.
The geese have returned.

We tried burning a small island on Cottonwood Creek to get rid of the weeds, but it didn't burn very well.
